Disperser is a kind of mixer. Since the high-speed dispersers (such as a disc mixer) can form a strong turbulent flow in parcial area, which will have a strong dispersing and emulsifying effect on the materials. Therefore, this kind of high-speed mixer is also called disperser. Dispersers are mainly divided into lifting dispersers and kettle dispersers. The lifting dispersers are divided into hydraulic lifting dispersers and pneumatic lifting dispersers, hand lifting dispersers, etc.; and according to the structure of the mixing paddles, it can be divided into concentric double shaft dispersers and powerful dispersers.

The strong centrifugal force throws the material radially into the narrow and precise gap between the stator and the rotor. At the same time, the material is initially dispersed by the comprehensive force of centrifugal extrusion, liquid layer friction, and hydraulic impact.

The high-speed rotor generates a linear speed of at least 15m/s. The material is fully dispersed and broken under strong hydraulic shearing, liquid layer friction, tearing and collision, and is ejected at a high speed through the stator groove.

The material is continuously ejected from the radial direction at high speed, changing the flow direction under the resistance of the material itself and the container wall.
